We headed up Friday and on the way we stayed at Mad and Marina's new place (Mad with the Jet Bike).

What an opening with the band called the Party Animals, catching up with the usual HOG's and meeting new ones.  Saturday was the Thunder Ride, approximately 100 km's with 750 Harleys.  It was well orgaised with cops an it did the loop to Yeppoon, Emu Park and back to the Great Western Hotel for some lunch and bull bucking.  Funny I found a cowboy to have my photo with.

The rain held off all weekend except for Sunday for the riders up to Mt Morgan.  Saturday night the Bullfrogs didn't keep many of us around so it was look out Rocky Pubs, I found a pub with 2 girls 21st's and a bridesmaid's party happening.  I fitted in quite well when they were pissed enough to think I was their age.

As the HOG's met all my new aged friends I left early, that early hours of the morning to make Sunday's gymkhana.  I got there just in time for the last one which was with a fishing net and stuffed animals.  Sunday night was a bull and bunnies night.  The Chapter Challenge was won by the Sunshine Coast.

The Harley was won by Macca from the Gold Coast and the sumo winner didn't need a suit to win.

All again well run,  next year is at Mt. Isa in August, see you there and thanks again Rocky HOG.
