When Robbo cracked the throttle wide open for the last time and rode on ahead of us he tore a huge hole in the hearts of his family and friends, however, such was the caliber of the man that those holes almost immediately began to fill with a huge outpouring of condolences from people who’s lives he had enriched over the years. From the people who had ridden with Robbo and enjoyed the companionship of the man on those occasions, the condolences offered were not idle words said just for the moment, they were spoken from somewhere deeper than usual conversation and truly reflected the loss of a mate, Robbo was a true biker and will be sorely missed by those who knew him.

The AMC, and in particular Robbo’s Southern Highlands Chapter may have physically lost a staunch member who’s shoes are going to be very hard to fill, but, whether in a group or alone and miles from home, from now on in, whenever members of the AMC are out there riding they will know that the spirit of Robbo will always be there alongside of them.

Till we meet again, R.I.P. mate.
