Worker, gentleman and biker, now, that’s not a real lot of words to describe a man, but, for those us that have had the privilege of knowing Les they more than truly reflect his character, evidence of the kind of respect that Les engendered from all he met was certainly shown by the funeral cortege on his final earthly ride, and the huge attendance at the Hillside Chapel for the service.

It’s going to take someone with pretty big boots to fill the void that Les has left, because, sadly for today’s society, men from the “Old School” are getting harder to find as the years roll on. Les might have gone out in front for a bit of a blatt but the memory of him still rides alongside of us.

RIP Les Douglass, a staunch AMC Member and friend of the Wildcats, gonna miss you old mate.
